MIR TOOLKIT: TOOL #6

Improve your meditation through embodiment principles

WHAT IS THIS VIDEO ABOUT?

Let’s be honest — most of us have tried meditation at some point, and for many, it just doesn’t stick. You sit down, close your eyes, try to “quiet your mind,” and within seconds, you’re lost in thought, wondering if you’re doing it wrong.

Eventually, you give up — not because you lack discipline, but because the way meditation is often taught works against how the masculine system actually functions.

Traditional meditation often entails you “doing a negative”. In other words, it tells you to “not do” something (i.e. think). But the Masculine mind is not as good at “doing a negative” as it is of actually doing something. This is why pure meditation practices often don’t stick for many men.

This is where the principles of embodiment come in.

Instead of trying to suppress thought, embodiment invites you to redirect awareness — away from the mind and into the body. Towards something tangible, rather than a mental construct.

In this video, I will show you a simple way to use embodiment principles to make your meditation more effective. To help you more reliably turn your awareness away from the thinking mind and more towards your physicality.
